Coordinates with SAQP staff to collect data, perform equipment audits, and maintain equipment. This is position assists with other special air program projects including indoor air quality assessments, the diesel engine replacement program, outreach and education. The position is supervised by the Air Quality Specialist.<\/p>\n<p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES<br \/>\u2022 Responsible for collection of environmental data including: Air quality data (ozone, nitrous oxides, particulate<br \/>matter); meteorological data (wind speed\/direction, precipitation, temperature, relative humidity, solar radiation,<br \/>barometric pressure); air samples for chemical analysis; mold assessments in public buildings and private<br \/>residences on the Reservation, and other data collection activities for the Air Quality Program\u2019s environmental<br \/>investigations and research.<br \/>\u2022 Completes data entry, quality control and management; performs calibrations and audits on air quality<br \/>equipment.<br \/>\u2022 Assists with diesel engine change-out project through field compliance checks and data tracking.<br \/>\u2022 Prepares and assists in planning and implementation of Air Quality Emergency Response such as wildfire smoke<br \/>events or refinery releases.<br \/>\u2022 Works on other projects in air quality as scheduled by supervisor.<br \/>Each employee may be expected to perform a wide range of office and field duties from time to time.
