Tribes & Climate Change Conference <\/strong><\/p>\n Sponsored by <\/strong><\/p>\n The Evergreen State College Native Cases Initiative and the Center <\/strong><\/p>\n for Climate Action & Sustainability <\/strong><\/p>\n November 8-9, 2022 at Squaxin Island Tribe\u2019s Little Creek Resort Hotel <\/strong><\/p>\n Shelton, Washington<\/strong><\/p>\n Our November conference will focus on Washington Tribes and Climate Change.\u00a0 The agenda will include Native cases and panels and presentations on various on tribal actions to combat climate change and promote climate justice. .The conference will also feature a number of new cases on the cutting edge of current climate issues in Indian Country. \u00a0<\/p>\n Conference Particulars:<\/strong> The conference is located on the reservation of the Squaxin Island Tribe. The programs will run from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. each day. \u00a0\u00a0Breakfast is at 8 a. m. with the program starting at 9 a.m. Pre-reading is required for some of the sessions using our cases. Campuses and organizations are invited to bring teams or attend the conference as individuals. Space is limited and registration is first come, first served.
