With work as diverse as the county it represents, Management Analysts for Pierce County\u2019s Sustainable Resources team oversee many aspects of its commitment to the environment. Never monotonous, this position focuses on assisting Sustainability, Solid Waste, and Environmental Education, and has a deep involvement in the budgeting, planning, and support of these programs with precise data. \u00a0You will touch on all aspects of the county\u2019s Planning and Public Works efforts and gain knowledge of the people and teams doing so.

How to be Successful in the Role:\u00a0<\/strong>
Pierce County is looking for candidates with analysis management abilities in budgeting, planning, and data; as well as familiarity with solid waste and sustainability. Tracking performance, processes, and total database management as well as supporting HR and various programs for the team will be daily functions. Effective communication of analysis to the team as well as being able to function well as an individual will be key. You will be a key player in the implementation of the Sustainability 2030 and the new Solid & Hazardous Waste Management Plans.

Environmental education, sustainability, and solid waste are the core focus of the group, and this primarily remote position will be in support of that through Data analysis, tracking performance measures, budgeting, and hiring support. \u00a0

Education and Experience<\/strong>
Bachelor\u2019s degree in public or business administration, accounting, or a closely related field and two
years of performing business operation analysis, research, and studies, OR any equivalent combination
of experience and education is required.

Licenses or Certifications<\/strong>
A valid Washington State driver\u2019s license may be required when travel is required of the position.
