{"id":46904,"date":"2022-08-18T10:56:38","date_gmt":"2022-08-18T17:56:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sites.evergreen.edu\/mesweekly\/?p=46904"},"modified":"2022-08-18T10:56:38","modified_gmt":"2022-08-18T17:56:38","slug":"job-evergreen-communities-coordinator-wa-state-department-of-natural-resources-olympia-wa","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sites.evergreen.edu\/mesweekly\/job-evergreen-communities-coordinator-wa-state-department-of-natural-resources-olympia-wa\/","title":{"rendered":"Job: Evergreen Communities Coordinator, WA State Department of Natural Resources (Olympia, WA)"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><!--more--><b><strong>For more information, please follow this link:<\/strong><\/b> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservationjobboard.com\/job-listing-evergreen-communities-coordinator-program-specialist-3-olympia-washington\/6327467296?utm_source=ongage&amp;utm_medium=email&amp;utm_campaign=regular%20\">https:\/\/www.conservationjobboard.com\/job-listing-evergreen-communities-coordinator-program-specialist-3-olympia-washington\/6327467296?utm_source=ongage&amp;utm_medium=email&amp;utm_campaign=regular%20<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Salary<\/strong>&#8211; $4,425.00 &#8211; $5,960.00 Monthly<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop a plan for implementation of the Evergreen Communities Recognition Program.<\/li>\n<li>Plan, implement, and manage an equitable, robust Evergreen Communities application system.<\/li>\n<li>Draft marketing strategies and work with vendors to create materials to facilitate advertisement and outreach.<\/li>\n<li>Facilitate the application and award process of all UCF recognition programs.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate with the Arbor Day Foundation, US Forest Service, Washington Community Forestry Council, and others on implementation of urban forestry recognition programs in Washington State.<\/li>\n<li>Track and analyze program and participation data for reporting and program improvement purposes.<\/li>\n<li>Plan, implement, and coordinate celebration activities for Arbor Day in April and Urban &amp; Community Forestry Month in October.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Required Qualifications:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A bachelor\u2019s degree in project management, communications, urban planning, social science, environmental science, or similar field AND 2 years of professional experience managing programs, projects, or similar work.<br \/>OR An equivalent combination of education and professional experience.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with records maintenance and retention.<\/li>\n<li>Experience and skills in customer service.<\/li>\n<li>Experience and skills managing data and information; basic data analysis skills.<\/li>\n<li>Experience of effective oral and written communications and can convey messages clearly and persuasively.
