Salary<\/strong>– $1<\/span>6,502<\/span> living allowance<\/span> paid over the<\/span> 11<\/span>–<\/span>month<\/span> term of service<\/span> (approx. $1,<\/span>500<\/span> monthly<\/span>, before taxes<\/span>).<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

POSITION SUMMARY<\/span><\/span><\/strong>
This position is in p<\/span>artnership<\/span> between<\/span> the Confluence Environmental Center,<\/span> AmeriCorps Program,<\/span> and<\/span> Adelante Mujeres<\/span>. <\/span>Adelante Mujeres provides holistic education and empowerment opportunities to low<\/span>–<\/span>income Latina women and their <\/span>families to ensure full participation and active leadership in<\/span> the community.<\/span> This position<\/span> will<\/span> serve<\/span> with our current and <\/span>new Latinx Farm Business<\/span>es<\/span> providing<\/span> direct technical assistance, building relationships and supporting overall farm <\/span>business goals<\/span> (80%)<\/span>. The Farm Business Specialist will<\/span> serve<\/span> in conjunction with their manager to set<\/span>–<\/span>up a farm business <\/span>consulting plan, and support farmers in their persona<\/span>l empowerment and business goals. We are looking for an individual<\/span>
who is enthusiastic about local food, sustainable agriculture, and farm business. The ideal candidate will be inspired by and <\/span>fully committed to Adelante Mujeres\u2019 vision and mission and wil<\/span>l represent the organization in a professional manner <\/span>among partners, community organizations, families and individuals<\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
