General Description<\/span><\/span><\/strong>
The Pacific Education Institute (PEI) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides professional development<\/span>
to teachers in locally relevant, career connected, outdoor STEM education. The intern is assigned a<\/span>
variety of projects to aid in the delivery and development of our statewide programs which reached<\/span>
over 24,000 students last year. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone looking to gain<\/span>
experience in nonprofit and environmental education program development and implementation.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n


General Duties<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\u2022<\/span> Review, analyze and identify existing educational resources<\/span><\/span>
\u2022<\/span> Maintain and organize data in various programs including Salesforce, Sharepoint and<\/span>
Eventbrite<\/span><\/span>
\u2022<\/span> Support and develop internal program-related projects<\/span><\/span>
\u2022<\/span> Organize and archive materials into the organization\u2019s resource library<\/span><\/span>
\u2022<\/span> Conduct workshop and organizational outreach support as needed<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n


Desired Qualifications<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\u2022<\/span> Knowledge of the natural resources sectors including agriculture, forestry and energy.<\/span><\/span>
\u2022<\/span> Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, Salesforce, Eventbrite, Canva<\/span>
and FormAssembly.<\/span><\/span>
\u2022<\/span> Maintains a positive, punctual and professional demeanor while being able to work flexibly in<\/span>
an inclusive team environment.<\/span><\/span>
\u2022<\/span> Ability to work independently, take initiative and follow through on plans and projects with a<\/span>
commitment to quality in work outcomes. Solution-focused problem solving and critical<\/span>
thinking skills are highly desired.<\/span><\/span>
\u2022<\/span> Effective writing and communication skills .<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
