$75,515.00 &#8211; $96,479.00 Annually<\/p>\n<p><strong>Things you\u2019ll get to do:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li><strong>Use your GIS technical skills<\/strong>\n<ul type=\"circle\">\n<li>Develop and maintain the City\u2019s Enterprise Geographic Information System<\/li>\n<li>Develop custom scripts and applications to automate data collection, maintenance of datasets, and analysis<\/li>\n<li>Create a variety of information products including digital or paper maps, web maps, web apps, and mobile tools using cartographic, visualization and information management processes and standards<\/li>\n<li>Update and maintain City\u2019s custom web mapping applications<\/li>\n<li>Publish and manage Portal map and feature services for use with mapping applications and software integrations<\/li>\n<li>Perform spatial and non-spatial data extractions, transformation and loading processes, and analysis<\/li>\n<li>Analyze problems, identify alternative solutions, assess consequences of proposed actions, and implement recommendations<\/li>\n<li>Administer ArcGIS Online and Portal for ArcGIS<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li><strong>Create and manage data, information, and documentation<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ol>\n<li>Create, edit, and maintain GIS data, reports, processes, procedures, workflows, and other technical documentation<\/li>\n<li>Support development of citywide spatial data and mapping standards<\/li>\n<li>Create accurate spatial data nd analyses; create data queries using a variety of tools; recognize and resolve discrepancies in attribute data<\/li>\n<li>Convert AutoCAD drawings and integrate data and other non-GIS format information into the GIS system<strong>\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li><strong>Work with GIS stakeholders<\/strong>\n<ul type=\"circle\">\n<li>Work with teams and managers to achieve City objectives and Gresham IT strategic goals.<\/li>\n<li>Work with internal and external stakeholders to understand their complex spatial and non-spatial data and analysis needs<\/li>\n<li>Facilitate project team meetings and manage the planning and implementation of large and\/or complex GIS projects<\/li>\n<li>Serve as GIS subject matter expert with software integrations\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Work with other members of the IT Services and IT Analyst Teams to ensure a stable and sustainable GIS platform<\/li>\n<li>Train and assist system users\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li><strong>Help the team continuously improve<\/strong>\n<ul type=\"circle\">\n<li>Serve as team lead; provide direction of work activities, prioritize and coordinate work assignments\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Review and monitor work for accuracy and content; evaluate projects, activities, and processes<\/li>\n<li>Assist in installing and testing new GIS software, troubleshoot and resolve GIS-related problems and requests<\/li>\n<li>Analyze best practices and trends<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><br \/>\u00a0<strong>Abilities we\u2019re looking for:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>Establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external customers and collaborate across diverse departments, stakeholders, and within the GIS Team<\/li>\n<li>Write programming code; perform programming duties and automate routines using models, scripts, or programs<\/li>\n<li>A natural curiosity and ability to independently research answers\/solve problems<\/li>\n<li>Plan, implement, and manage projects<\/li>\n<li>Read and understand technical materials such as engineering plans and specifications, maps, and as-builts<\/li>\n<li>Excellent\u00a0written and verbal communication skills; ability to express complex technical topics and issues to numerous audience types\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Provide effective motivation, coordination, and evaluation of others<\/li>\n<li>Provide and accept assistance and feedback<\/li>\n<li>Exercise discretion in confidential and sensitive matters<\/li>\n<li>Adapt to change and reallocate task priorities<\/li>\n<li>Handle multiple, concurrent tasks<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Qualifications<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Minimum Qualifications<\/u><\/strong><br \/>\u00a0<br \/>At a<strong>\u00a0minimum,<\/strong> to be considered for the GIS Analyst Senior position, you must possess the following experience:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Bachelor\u2019s degree\u00a0<\/strong>in geography, environmental studies, computer science, engineering, GIS, or related field; <u><strong>and<\/strong><\/u><\/li>\n<li><strong>Three years of professional experience<\/strong> (outside of academia) regularly operating GIS using Esri\u2019s software suite.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>-OR-<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Seven to ten years of professional experience in the GIS<\/strong> field using Esri\u2019s software suite, i<strong>ncluding a Certificate in GIS<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u00a0<br \/><strong>-AND-<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>1+ years<\/strong> of experience administering and troubleshooting<strong>\u00a0Esri enterprise geodatabases, ArcGIS Servers, and Portal for ArcGIS<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>1+ yea<\/strong>rs of <strong>GIS system integration experience\u00a0<\/strong>with one or more business systems<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u00a0<br \/><strong><u>Preferred Qualifications<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>GISP Certification<\/li>\n<li>Working knowledge of modern program\/scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, SQL, HTML, or ASP.NET<\/li>\n<li>Basic understanding of enterprise networking<\/li>\n<li>Experience with local government GIS data structures<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Selection Process<\/p>\n<p><strong>Required application materials include:<\/strong><br \/>\u00a0<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><em>Complete online application (do not put &#8216;see resume&#8217;
