{"id":46294,"date":"2022-06-16T07:31:00","date_gmt":"2022-06-16T14:31:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sites.evergreen.edu\/mesweekly\/?p=46294"},"modified":"2022-06-16T07:31:00","modified_gmt":"2022-06-16T14:31:00","slug":"job-restoration-project-manager-lower-columbia-fish-enhancement-group-vancouver-wa","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sites.evergreen.edu\/mesweekly\/job-restoration-project-manager-lower-columbia-fish-enhancement-group-vancouver-wa\/","title":{"rendered":"Job: Restoration Project Manager, Lower Columbia Fish Enhancement Group (Vancouver, WA)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><!--more--><b><strong>For more information, please follow this link:<\/strong><\/b> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservationjobboard.com\/job-listing-restoration-project-manager-vancouver-washington\/3528815606?utm_source=ongage&amp;utm_medium=email&amp;utm_campaign=regular\">https:\/\/www.conservationjobboard.com\/job-listing-restoration-project-manager-vancouver-washington\/3528815606?utm_source=ongage&amp;utm_medium=email&amp;utm_campaign=regular<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Salary<\/strong>&#8211; $60,000<\/p>\n<p>Lower Columbia Fish Enhancement Group (LCFEG) is seeking a Restoration Project Manager to join our team of conservation-minded professionals.\u00a0 We currently have a staff of five and this position will be our second project manager. \u00a0Project managers are a critical part of our restoration work\u2014they scout, plan, seek funding and permitting, and oversee habitat restoration projects. \u00a0Much of the day to day work occurs indoors at a computer but you will need to be willing and able to work outdoors in all kinds of conditions.\u00a0 This position requires knowledge of watershed function, ecology, and fish biology and a good balance of technical knowledge and people skills. An effective project manager is also self-motivated, organized, creative, team focused, and an excellent communicator.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Determining high priority projects and pursuing potential funding sources for these projects. Writing\/managing grant application proposals.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinating with local watershed Lead Entity staff and other partners to identify, develop, and prioritize salmon habitat restoration projects.<\/li>\n<li>Directing implementation of funded projects. Managing and monitoring grants and contract budgets. Maintaining files of proposals and current\/past grants and contracts.<\/li>\n<li>Developing\/managing project timelines, scopes of work, and budgets in cooperation with the Managing Director and staff. Ensuring projects are on schedule and within budget.<\/li>\n<li>Conducting competitive bid processes and hiring\/managing subcontractors (engineers, construction contractors, etc.) under the direction of the Managing Director.<\/li>\n<li>Acquiring all necessary permits, landowner agreements, and access for projects.<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring compliance with state and federal laws and LCFEG policies.<\/li>\n<li>Managing\/coordinating project consultants and contractors and associated contracts.<\/li>\n<li>Directing LCFEG field staff in coordination with other project managers based on organizational needs and priorities.<\/li>\n<li>Tracking and reporting project costs, invoices, and match\/cost share required by grants.<\/li>\n<li>Preparing reports and presentations.
