The position will be a joint hire<br \/>\nbetween the two units.<br \/>\nWe seek an environmental scientist who can teach students about the challenges of the human-nature<br \/>\ninterface. Our new colleague should have expertise in population, community, evolutionary, or ecosystem<br \/>\necology. Successful applicants are expected to contribute to teaching ecology-related courses including<br \/>\nthe instruction of a large-enrollment Ecology course and plant ecology. The teaching load for this position will be three courses per semester. This load will be split between the two departments, which have a long history of collaborating on the Environmental Studies major.<br \/>\nBinghamton University values evidence of advancing equity and inclusion through teaching.
