$3,535.00 Monthly<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Our Natural Resource Technician 2,<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Performs technical activities to maintain\/improve habitat, species, and\/or recreational opportunities. \u00a0Tasks include, but are not limited to:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Implements Wildlife Area projects.<\/li>\n<li>Restores, enhances, and maintains wildlife habitats by mowing, disking, seeding, fertilizing, tree plantings, trimming trees, timber work, weed control, etc.<\/li>\n<li>Creates\/manages\/maintains moist soil management projects.<\/li>\n<li>Implements Integrated Vegetation Management activities (herbicide application) and properly mixes, applies, records, and stores herbicides.<\/li>\n<li>Assists in monitoring land-use per agreements.<\/li>\n<li>Operates a variety of small and heavy equipment to include brush cutters, chainsaws ATVs, tractors, and excavators.<\/li>\n<li>Manages\/maintains public recreational use, opportunities, and infrastructure by walking and clearing trails, updating signs, servicing parking areas, cleaning, and restocking bathrooms.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Maintains capital facilities, wildlife area infrastructure, vehicles, and equipment. \u00a0Tasks include, but are not limited to:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Maintains and repairs Wildlife Area buildings.<\/li>\n<li>Maintains and repairs Wildlife Area information kiosks.<\/li>\n<li>Repairs or maintains Wildlife Area signage.<\/li>\n<li>Assists in implementing capital improvement projects<\/li>\n<li>Maintains and services roads, culverts, gates, fences, parking lots, and other capital improvements.<\/li>\n<li>Maintains wildlife area vehicles, equipment, and maintenance records.<\/li>\n<li>Monitors\/assesses\/assures safety of Wildlife Area facilities and equipment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Coordinates and communicates within WDFW, with other agencies, and with the public. \u00a0Tasks include, but are not limited to:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Attends agency meetings, meetings with external groups and constituents.<\/li>\n<li>Provides information to the public through office and field contacts.<\/li>\n<li>Assists in managing activities with cooperative partners and adjacent landowners.<\/li>\n<li>Reports violations to the manager or enforcement.<\/li>\n<li>Assists in public educational activities (i.e. hunter education classes, outreach programs, etc.)<\/li>\n<li>Assists\/supports enforcement on activities occurring on Wildlife Area lands.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"","protected":false},"author":9433,"featured_media":34097,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_mi_skip_tracking":false,"_s2mail":"yes"},"categories":[15],"tags":[4,28,33,141,13],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/sites.evergreen.edu\/mesweekly\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/45633"}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/sites.evergreen.edu\/mesweekly\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/sites.evergreen.edu\/mesweekly\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/post"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/sites.evergreen.edu\/mesweekly\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/9433"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/sites.evergreen.edu\/mesweekly\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=45633"}],"version-history":[{"count":1,"href":"https:\/\/sites.evergreen.edu\/mesweekly\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/45633\/revisions"}],"predecessor-version":[{"id":45634,"href":"https:\/\/sites.evergreen.edu\/mesweekly\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/45633\/revisions\/45634"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/sites.evergreen.edu\/mesweekly\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/34097"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/sites.evergreen.edu\/mesweekly\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=45633"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/sites.evergreen.edu\/mesweekly\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/categories?post=45633"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/sites.evergreen.edu\/mesweekly\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/tags?post=45633"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
