Vernon, WA)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><!--more--><strong>For more information, please follow this link:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservationjobboard.com\/job-listing-wetland-scientist--project-manager-bellinghammt-vernon-washington\/3530882544?utm_source=ongage&amp;utm_medium=email&amp;utm_campaign=regular\">https:\/\/www.conservationjobboard.com\/job-listing-wetland-scientist&#8211;project-manager-bellinghammt-vernon-washington\/3530882544?utm_source=ongage&amp;utm_medium=email&amp;utm_campaign=regular<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Salary-<\/strong> Commensurate with experience<\/p>\n<p><strong>Duties:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Perform wetland-related work including:\n<ul>\n<li>Wetland delineations according to USACE Manual and Regional Supplements<\/li>\n<li>Wetland ratings and function assessments<\/li>\n<li>Mitigation monitoring,<\/li>\n<li>Mitigation and wetland restoration planning<\/li>\n<li>Ordinary High Water Mark (OHWM) determinations<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrate knowledge of state and federal environmental laws and regulations;<\/li>\n<li>Manage and oversee junior-level wetland staff;<\/li>\n<li>Design, plan, direct and conduct research projects;<\/li>\n<li>Independently prepare technical reports, permit documents, and maintain excellent communication with clients, employees and subcontractors;<\/li>\n<li>Develop and submit project, research and grant proposals to various agencies and entities, including budget and schedule development;<\/li>\n<li>Conduct work year-round in adverse weather and rough terrain;<\/li>\n<li>Provide presentations to groups or organizations based on project\/study results;<\/li>\n<li>Develop and maintain client relationships;<\/li>\n<li>Expand Hamer Environmental\u2019s Wetland and Fisheries Division and strategize about new business development and meet with potential clients.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Education and Experience:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A minimum 3 years of full-time wetland delineation work in Washington State is required.<\/li>\n<li>degree or higher in an environmental discipline required with demonstrated experience with plant, soil and wetland identification and characterization in the PNW and at least 5 years of professional experience strongly desired.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"","protected":false},"author":9433,"featured_media":34097,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_mi_skip_tracking":false,"_s2mail":"yes","footnotes":""},"categories":[15],"tags":[4,28,33,141,13],"class_list":["post-45618","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-jobs","tag-alumni","tag-job","tag-jobs","tag-recent-grad","tag-recent-grads"],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/sites.evergreen.edu\/mesweekly\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/45618"}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/sites.evergreen.edu\/mesweekly\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/sites.evergreen.edu\/mesweekly\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/post"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/sites.evergreen.edu\/mesweekly\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/9433"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/sites.evergreen.edu\/mesweekly\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=45618"}],"version-history":[{"count":1,"href":"https:\/\/sites.evergreen.edu\/mesweekly\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/45618\/revisions"}],"predecessor-version":[{"id":45619,"href":"https:\/\/sites.evergreen.edu\/mesweekly\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/45618\/revisions\/45619"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/sites.evergreen.edu\/mesweekly\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/34097"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/sites.evergreen.edu\/mesweekly\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=45618"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/sites.evergreen.edu\/mesweekly\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/categories?post=45618"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/sites.evergreen.edu\/mesweekly\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/tags?post=45618"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
