{"id":45414,"date":"2022-03-09T10:50:27","date_gmt":"2022-03-09T18:50:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sites.evergreen.edu\/mesweekly\/?p=45414"},"modified":"2022-03-09T10:50:27","modified_gmt":"2022-03-09T18:50:27","slug":"job-sediment-specialist-cleanup-project-manager-dept-of-ecology-lacey-wa","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sites.evergreen.edu\/mesweekly\/job-sediment-specialist-cleanup-project-manager-dept-of-ecology-lacey-wa\/","title":{"rendered":"Job: Sediment Specialist\/Cleanup Project Manager,  Dept. of Ecology  (Lacey, WA)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><!--more--><strong>For more information, please follow this link:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.governmentjobs.com\/careers\/washington\/jobs\/3443995\/sediment-specialist-cleanup-project-manager-environmental-specialist-4-in-trai\">https:\/\/www.governmentjobs.com\/careers\/washington\/jobs\/3443995\/sediment-specialist-cleanup-project-manager-environmental-specialist-4-in-trai<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Salary-<\/strong> $54,108.00 &#8211; $70,956.00 Annually<\/p>\n<p><strong>What you will do:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Review and analyze technical documents such as remedial investigation \/ feasibility studies, sediment sampling and analysis plans, engineering design reports and cleanup action plans.<\/li>\n<li>Evaluate chemical and biological data resulting from sediment sampling.<\/li>\n<li>Serve as the Ecology representative during negotiations with other governmental agencies, liable parties, tribes and consultants.<\/li>\n<li>Negotiate, draft and review Agreed Orders, Consent Decrees and other legal documents.<\/li>\n<li>Understand and apply the principles of environmental chemistry, human toxicology and ecological toxicology to evaluate the actions required at contaminated sites.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><u>Required Qualifications:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The goal class for this position is an Environmental Specialist 4 (ES4). We will consider applicants who meet the requirements for the ES4 or the ES3, or ES2 levels.
