$3,701.00 Monthly<\/p>\n<p><strong>Conduct EGC Management Actions.<\/strong><\/p>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>Conduct land-based and\/or boat-based trapping assessments throughout coastal intertidal and subtidal to determine the distribution and abundance<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<p>of EGC.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Conduct early detection monitoring trapping at sites not previously surveyed.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct control\/removal trapping efforts to functionally eradicate EGC following directives from lead biologists.<\/li>\n<li>Perform trapping strategies predetermined for subtidal efforts and deploy various traps (i.e., shrimp, minnow, Fukui) from watercrafts.<\/li>\n<li>Assemble field gear, safely navigate to remote locations, and set traps in predetermined sites.<\/li>\n<li>Record data using electronic field app and\/or field datasheets and ensure data is accurately recorded and summarized.<\/li>\n<li>Protect native species to reduce bycatch, quickly and carefully release any incident bycatch, and remove and humanely euthanize captured EGC and other AIS.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate and assist in removal efforts with agency partners and co-managers (Washington Sea Grant, Northwest Straits Commission, local tribes, shellfish growers, etc.)<\/li>\n<li>Participate in regional rapid response actions where new EGC are detected.<\/li>\n<li>May operate motorized (i.e., airboats, &lt;26\u2019 aluminum boats, rigid inflatables) and non-motorized (i.e., kayaks, inflatables, canoes) watercrafts in coastal marine environments depending on experience.<\/li>\n<li>May work in and around watercrafts performing trapping strategies predetermined for subtidal efforts; incumbents may deploy various traps (i.e., shrimp, minnow, Fukui) from watercrafts, record location and return the following day to retrieve the traps manually or via a pot puller and remove and record any crabs and\/or bycatch;
