$80,844.00 Annually<\/p>\n<p><strong>Some of the duties include:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>Serve as the overall technical lead for development and ongoing curation of the Puget Sound performance measures portfolio<\/li>\n<li>Facilitate technical and stakeholder workgroups to evaluate and identify performance measures that track shared recovery goals across local and regional recovery plans and utilize the best available datasets<\/li>\n<li>Research and review relevant monitoring efforts, databases, and literature pertaining to candidate measures<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate ongoing reporting on performance measures by a range of entities, including developing and managing contracts with external programs and data providers to ensure timely reporting of performance measures<\/li>\n<li>As requested, support the development of quantitative targets and performance measure action plans for some of the performance measures<\/li>\n<li>Scope and implement analyses and program evaluations that assess relative effectiveness and contributions of recovery programs, policies, and investments on performance measure trends; design and perform quantitative analyses to explore correlations across indicators<\/li>\n<li>Use data analyses and evaluations to identify opportunities to adaptively manage to improve recovery efforts<\/li>\n<li>Publish performance measure analyses in technical reports, fact sheets, and other communication products including the biennial State of the Sound report\\<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Qualifications<\/p>\n<p><strong>Success in this position requires that a person be a team player, defined as possessing initiative and a driving passion for the work, having humility and practicing curiosity in interactions with others, and valuing the whole human in each of us. \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em><u>Required Experience, Competencies and Technical Skills (experience may be concurrent):<\/u><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>Minimum of three years related experience in developing or implementing performance measures or indicators related to social, economic, or environmental programs<\/li>\n<li>Experience in managing or curating quantitative datasets<\/li>\n<li>Possess high level of analytical skills<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with performance measurement principles, including effective use of logic models<\/li>\n<li>Experience in effectively communicating to partners and the public<\/li>\n<li>Competency in project management<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work cooperatively and effectively with a diverse group of agencies, governments and partners, scientists, planners, practitioners, and policy makers<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>PREFERRED:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Graduate level degrees or course work in nature or social science disciplines<\/li>\n<li>Five years of experience designing, reporting, and analyzing performance measures or indicators of regional environmental, economic, and\/or social trends<\/li>\n<li>Experience coordinating or leading the development of collaborative performance measurement frameworks<\/li>\n<li>Advanced skills in quantitative analysis, data visualization, geospatial analysis, and quantitative policy analysis<\/li>\n<li>Experience facilitating technical work groups and engaging diverse stakeholders in the development of technical products<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with a computer programming language or software suitable for data analysis<\/li>\n<li>Competency in contract management<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of natural resource issues and natural and social science related to the recovery of Puget Sound<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"","protected":false},"author":9433,"featured_media":34097,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_mi_skip_tracking":false,"_s2mail":"yes"},"categories":[15],"tags":[4,28,33,141,13],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/sites.evergreen.edu\/mesweekly\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/45386"}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/sites.evergreen.edu\/mesweekly\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/sites.evergreen.edu\/mesweekly\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/post"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/sites.evergreen.edu\/mesweekly\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/9433"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/sites.evergreen.edu\/mesweekly\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=45386"}],"version-history":[{"count":1,"href":"https:\/\/sites.evergreen.edu\/mesweekly\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/45386\/revisions"}],"predecessor-version":[{"id":45387,"href":"https:\/\/sites.evergreen.edu\/mesweekly\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/45386\/revisions\/45387"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/sites.evergreen.edu\/mesweekly\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/34097"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/sites.evergreen.edu\/mesweekly\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=45386"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/sites.evergreen.edu\/mesweekly\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/categories?post=45386"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/sites.evergreen.edu\/mesweekly\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/tags?post=45386"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
