Or that sediments at the bottom of Puget Sound harbor a <\/span><br role=\"presentation\" \/><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">unique group of organisms? There are lots of interesting stories to share. <\/span> <\/span><span id=\"page1R_mcid9\" class=\"markedContent\"><br role=\"presentation\" \/><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Salish Magazine tells stories about things at people can see first-hand outdoors in our <\/span><br role=\"presentation\" \/><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Salish Sea region. It ties the topics into the larger ecosystem and includes lots of <\/span><br role=\"presentation\" \/><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">illustrations. We rely on volunteers to contribute content\u2014whether you\u2019re an aspiring <\/span><br role=\"presentation\" \/><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">journalist, essayist, poet, photographer, or artist, we would love to hear from you.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span id=\"page1R_mcid13\" class=\"markedContent\"><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">DEADLINES<\/span> <\/span><\/strong><span id=\"page1R_mcid14\" class=\"markedContent\"><br role=\"presentation\" \/><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Salish Magazine is written and produced by volunteers. We know you\u2019re busy and<\/span><br role=\"presentation\" \/><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">we can work with you on exact due dates. Tying the story <\/span><br role=\"presentation\" \/><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">of what is seen, and its history, to our present-day ecosystem functions would be an added <\/span><br role=\"presentation\" \/><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">bonus. <\/span> <\/span><span id=\"page17R_mcid37\" class=\"markedContent\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span id=\"page17R_mcid37\" class=\"markedContent\"><br role=\"presentation\" \/><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">The final content should be <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">easy to read for people who don<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">!<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">t know much about the<\/span> <br role=\"presentation\" \/><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">subject, and more fun than academic <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">\u2014 written as if you have a big smile on your face <\/span><br role=\"presentation\" \/><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">to be sharing your ideas with a bunch of fun people. If you\u2019re more of a technical writer, <\/span><br role=\"presentation\" \/><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">we can help edit your work for a lay audience.
