What We Need:<\/span><\/strong>
We are seeking a Digital Media Associate to grow and support our digital and social media<\/span>
presence. The ideal candidate will be passionate about creating content across our social media<\/span>
accounts that translates Green 2.0\u2019s work into engaging messages and information for our<\/span>
audiences. The Digital Media Associate will report to our Digital Marketing Director and collaborate<\/span>
with our Communications Manager to implement Green 2.0\u2019s digital media strategy with a strong<\/span>
focus on social media content creation, building and maintaining relationships with our<\/span>
environmental partners, and managing and reporting on Green 2.0\u2019s social media, newsletter, and<\/span>
other digital analytics.<\/span><\/p>\n


Responsibilities<\/strong>:<\/span>
\u25cf<\/span> Content Creation:<\/span> Develop and publish digital media content across social media accounts<\/span>
including Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram.<\/span>
\u25cf<\/span> Digital Media Analysis:<\/span> Analyze Green 2.0\u2019s social media accounts, website, and email<\/span>
marketing data to understand trends to inform future content production.<\/span>
\u25cf<\/span> Blog Content Creation:<\/span> Support Communications Manager with developing content for<\/span>
Green 2.0 blog.<\/span>
\u25cf<\/span> External Engagement:<\/span> Develop and maintain relationships with digital media partners at<\/span>
NGOs and foundations to support amplification of programs and projects.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u25cf<\/span> Growth Mindset:<\/span> Continually look for ways to improve social media content and digital<\/span>
media strategies in collaboration with digital marketing director and communications<\/span>
manager.<\/span>
\u25cf<\/span> Communications Support:<\/span> Support communications manager and digital marketing director<\/span>
to amplify Green 2.0\u2019s research and report releases.<\/span>
\u25cf<\/span> Website Maintenance:<\/span> Provide support for maintenance and upkeep of Green 2.0 website.<\/span>
\u25cf<\/span> Staff Support:<\/span> Work with digital marketing director and communications manager to<\/span>
support other Green 2.0 staff to execute integrated communications strategy.<\/span>
\u25cf<\/span> Other duties as assigned.<\/span>
Strong Candidates Will Have:<\/span>
\u25cf<\/span> A demonstrated commitment to racial and ethnic justice;<\/span>
\u25cf<\/span> 1+ years\u2019 experience in in digital media content creation or communications (internships<\/span>
included);<\/span>
\u25cf<\/span> Fluency in social media platforms, e.g. Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn;<\/span>
\u25cf<\/span> Ability to quickly produce clear, concise, and compelling written copy;<\/span>
\u25cf<\/span> High levels of organization and attention to detail;<\/span>
\u25cf<\/span> Experience working directly with people from diverse racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic<\/span>
backgrounds;<\/span>
\u25cf<\/span> Knowledge of media and social monitoring platforms, e.g. Meltwater; content;<\/span>
management system, e.g. WordPress; Google Workspace suite is a plus; and<\/span>
\u25cf<\/span> Experience with Canva, Adobe Photoshop, or other graphic design software is a plus.<\/span>
