Salary-<\/strong> $15.00\/hour, approximately 35 hours\/week<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

QUALIFICATIONS<\/span><\/span><\/strong>
Required:<\/span><\/em><\/span>
\u2022<\/span> Background in science, natural resources, conservation, or environmental education.<\/span><\/span>
\u2022<\/span> Experience in ecological restoration through coursework, volunteering, or in a professional<\/span>
setting.<\/span><\/span>
\u2022<\/span> Experience connecting with teens or other age group, preferably in an outdoor setting.<\/span><\/span>
\u2022<\/span> Passion for environmental stewardship and youth engagement.<\/span><\/span>
\u2022<\/span> Interpersonal skills that lead to strong, trusting relationships.<\/span><\/span>
\u2022<\/span> Strong verbal communication skills.<\/span><\/span>
\u2022<\/span> Desire to learn new things.<\/span><\/span>
\u2022<\/span> Attention to detail, patience, and reliability.<\/span><\/span>
\u2022<\/span> Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team.<\/span><\/span>
\u2022<\/span> Ability to pass a background check.<\/span><\/span>
\u2022<\/span> Valid driver\u2019s license and vehicle to travel to site locations. Mileage reimbursement will be<\/span>
provided.<\/span><\/span>
\u2022<\/span> A cell phone.<\/span><\/span>
\u2022<\/span> This position requires regular walking on uneven ground, stooping, crouching, using hand tools,<\/span>
and the ability to lift 30 pounds.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
Preferred:<\/span><\/em><\/span>
\u2022<\/span> Familiarity with Pacific Northwest ecosystems.<\/span><\/span>
\u2022<\/span> Experience working with non-profit organizations and volunteers.<\/span><\/span>
\u2022<\/span> Experience evaluating education programs.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

\u2022<\/span> Experience collaborating with CLT staff and volunteers, as well as partner organizations, and<\/span>
teachers<\/span><\/span>
\u2022<\/span> Relevant career skills such as public speaking, group and time management, and writing<\/span><\/span>
\u2022<\/span> Map competency using technology<\/span><\/span>
\u2022<\/span> Experience in fostering a positive team atmosphere and build trusting relationships with teens<\/span><\/span>
\u2022<\/span> Practice using wildlife cameras to monitor wildlife<\/span><\/span>
\u2022<\/span> First aid and CPR certification<\/span><\/span>
\u2022<\/span> Experience developing social media content<\/span><\/span>
