March or April through August or September (5 months), five-day work week, up to eight-<\/span>
hour shifts with flexible hours which may include weekdays, weekends, and some evenings.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
Job Summary<\/span><\/span>
Assists maintenance personnel with routine tasks related to the maintenance and operation of county<\/span>
park athletic fields, grounds, facilities, and structures.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n


Examples of Duties<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
Removes and disposes litter, garbage, and debris; cleans and sanitizes public restrooms; performs<\/span>
gardening and landscape tasks; prepares ball fields for league and tournament games; and assists<\/span>
with capital improvement projects.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n


Minimum Requirements<\/span><\/span><\/strong>
High school graduate or GED, experience in landscaping or light construction; ability to accomplish<\/span>
assignments within time frame and work with minimal supervision; ability to perform the physical<\/span>
requirements of this position including bending, heavy lifting, and exposure to v ariable weather<\/span>
conditions; ability to operate pick up truck and various power and hand tools.<\/span> Must have valid WA<\/span>
State Driver\u2019s License with good driving record (selected candidate will be required to provide driver\u2019s<\/span>
abstract record) and must pass WA State Patrol criminal background check.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
