$21.79 Hourly<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Our Administrative Assistant 2,\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Confidentially manages email and calendar communications for Program Managers and the Enforcement Captain.<\/li>\n<li>Processes invoices and prepares Order Payment Forms at the supervisor\u2019s discretion.<\/li>\n<li>Schedules and tracks District Team Meetings.<\/li>\n<li>Explains and interprets complex rules, policies, and operating procedures to internal and external customers.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinates meeting logistics, scheduling and preparation as well as note taking as requested.<\/li>\n<li>Monitors and provides status updates for public disclosure requests, records management, and litigation holds.<\/li>\n<li>Provides support to Program Managers during recruitment processes.<\/li>\n<li>Understands and implements complex agency rules, policies, and operating procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Processes Permit applications and monitors to ensure routing and approval meet required timelines.<\/li>\n<li>Assists with records maintenance and organization projects.<\/li>\n<li>Creates, edits, and reviews documents and correspondence for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with agency and program requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Tracks Purchase Card completion and assist staff with rules and regulations for new acquisition of cards and compliance.<\/li>\n<li>Maintains office supply, equipment, uniforms, and Personal Protective Equipment, as needed.<\/li>\n<li>Creates and maintains electronic and manual filing systems and databases<\/li>\n<li>Assists with the preparation of materials for presentations and special projects.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>WORKING CONDITIONS:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Work Setting, including hazards:\u00a0<\/strong>\n<ol>\n<li>Duties are performed in a busy office setting, these positions require extensive computer use &#8211; must be able to work with frequent interruptions\/competing priorities.<\/li>\n<li>Opportunity to support staff with field work may be provided and occasional interaction with wildlife may occur.<\/li>\n<li>Due to the Governor\u2019s \u201cStay Home, Stay Safe\u201d order due to the pandemic, many of our positions are currently working remotely, or a combination of office and remote. \u00a0When the Governor lifts the \u201cStay Home, Stay Safe\u201d order for state employees, combinations of office or telework may be considered.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Schedule:<\/strong>\n<ol>\n<li>This position works a minimum of 20 hours per week &#8211; additional hours may be worked during heavy workload periods.<\/li>\n<li>Work is performed during core business hours \u2013 work schedule is flexible.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Travel Requirements:\u00a0<\/strong>\n<ol>\n<li>Some travel may be required throughout the State to attend trainings, meetings, and conferences.<\/li>\n<li>Occasional overnight travel may be required.<\/li>\n<li>Must meet the agency requirements for driving personal and state vehicles.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Tools and Equipment:\u00a0<\/strong>\n<ol>\n<li>Computer, computer accessories, required software programs such as Microsoft Office Suite, agency specific programs.<\/li>\n<li>Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) telephones, radios, projectors, video conferencing equipment, cell phones, internet access\/Wi-Fi, business hub printer\/fax\/copier\/scanner and postage meter.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Customer Interactions:\u00a0<\/strong>\n<ol>\n<li>Customer service is an integral aspect for department success \u2013 this position works with internal and external customers daily.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Other:\u00a0<\/strong>\n<ol>\n<li>The employee may be called on to respond to a variety of requests while working alone and managing multiple projects.<\/li>\n<li>On occasion, the incumbent may be required to lift or move tubs that contain educational kits, cases of paper, file boxes, etc. that weigh up to 30 lbs.<\/li>\n<li>Rarely climb a ladder up to 8 feet to perform minor office maintenance.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:<\/strong><\/p>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>A High School Diploma or GED <strong>AND<\/strong> a minimum of five (5) years of responsible experience in office\/clerical, secretarial, bookkeeping, or general administrative work.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<p><strong>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 OR<\/strong><\/p>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>An Associate degree in business administration, or a closely related field <strong>AND\u00a0<\/strong>three (3) years of experience providing office assistance or administrative support.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<p><strong>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 OR<\/strong><\/p>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>A Bachelor\u2019s degree<strong>\u00a0AND\u00a0<\/strong>one (1) year of related experience providing office assistance and administrative support.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<p><strong>Ability to:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Communicate clearly, and concisely both verbally and in writing is essential.<\/li>\n<li>Prioritize and manage multiple projects and competing deadlines.<\/li>\n<li>Protect and maintain confidentiality.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Skills:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong organizational skills, time management, and self-management skills.<\/li>\n<li>Professional communication and inter-personal skills.<\/li>\n<li>Skillfully type when composing letters, memos, and emails or when performing data entry work.<\/li>\n<li>Skilled in navigating, using, and collaborating within online virtual platforms.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Knowledge and application of: \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>Microsoft Office Suite &#8211;
