Wages are <strong>$35.00 per hour<\/strong> dependent on successful applicant\u2019s <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">qualifications and experience. This is a temporary position anticipated to last a minimum of one year, it does not <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">qualify for health, vision or dental coverage but does include paid holidays, vacation\/sick leave benefits.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span id=\"page124R_mcid9\" class=\"markedContent\"><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Job Description:<\/span><\/span><\/strong><span id=\"page124R_mcid10\" class=\"markedContent\"><br role=\"presentation\" \/><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">The FieldSTEM Green Jobs Coordinator is the statewide point of contact for PEI\u2019s work to create and<\/span><br role=\"presentation\" \/><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">support programming for secondary educators to prepare students interested in entering green economy<\/span><br role=\"presentation\" \/><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">careers &#8211; renewable natural resource, agriculture, conservation, outdoor recreation, environmental<\/span><br role=\"presentation\" \/><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">education, and environmental sciences. The position manages development of PEI resources and<\/span><br role=\"presentation\" \/><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">professional learning for secondary and CTE educators and creates partnerships with employers and post-<\/span><br role=\"presentation\" \/><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">secondary institutions to provide authentic work-integrated learning and career launch opportunities. This<\/span><br role=\"presentation\" \/><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">position is responsible for creating and maintaining partnerships with school districts, educational leaders,<\/span><br role=\"presentation\" \/><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">nonformal educators and local green economy employers to strengthen PEI\u2019s CTE and Green Jobs<\/span><br role=\"presentation\" \/><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">programs. This work will help lead PEI\u2019s current initiative to expand equitable green opportunities for youth.<\/span><br role=\"presentation\" \/><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">This is a statewide position with flexibility to work remotely or in Olympia, requires travel within the state<\/span><br role=\"presentation\" \/><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">and possibly to national conferences or events. PEI is a statewide organization based out of Olympia,<\/span><br role=\"presentation\" \/><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Washington.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span id=\"page1R_mcid2\" class=\"markedContent\"><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Desired Qualifications<\/span><\/span><\/strong><span id=\"page1R_mcid5\" class=\"markedContent\"><br role=\"presentation\" \/><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">\u2022<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Bachelor\u2019s Degree and 3+ years of experience with formal classroom education, workforce development or <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">natural resource and conservation program management or equivalent lived experience.<\/span><\/span><span id=\"page1R_mcid9\" class=\"markedContent\"><br role=\"presentation\" \/><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">\u2022<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Experience working with and leading adults; skilled in meeting and workshop facilitation.<\/span><\/span><span id=\"page1R_mcid13\" class=\"markedContent\"><br role=\"presentation\" \/><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">\u2022<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Experience developing and providing professional learning for career connected learning programs, including <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">those accessible through a skills center, career and guidance counseling, or post-secondary workforce <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">education.<\/span><\/span><span id=\"page1R_mcid17\" class=\"markedContent\"><br role=\"presentation\" \/><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">\u2022<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Knowledge of the multiple education and workforce systems in the state including CTE pathways and<\/span><br role=\"presentation\" \/><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">programs, skills centers, state career and technical colleges and state and federal requirements and legislation <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">guiding CTE, career connected learning and workforce development.<\/span><\/span><span id=\"page1R_mcid21\" class=\"markedContent\"><br role=\"presentation\" \/><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">\u2022<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Up to date on initiatives in education, e.g., Universal Design for Learning, Social Emotional Learning, Washington <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">State Learning Standards, Since Time Immemorial.<\/span><\/span><span id=\"page1R_mcid25\" class=\"markedContent\"><br role=\"presentation\" \/><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">\u2022<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Awareness of key green economy sectors (natural resources, renewable energy, agriculture and food systems, <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">outdoor recreation, environmental conservation).<\/span><\/span><span id=\"page1R_mcid29\" class=\"markedContent\"><br role=\"presentation\" \/><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">\u2022<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Experience working with
