$3,701.00 Monthly<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Our Scientific Technician 2,\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Performs wetland habitat assessment surveys.<\/li>\n<li>Collects biological samples for ongoing research (genetics, disease monitoring).<\/li>\n<li>Performs funnel trap surveys to inventory species in wetlands.<\/li>\n<li>Uses radio-telemetry to track amphibians, often in wet, winter conditions.<\/li>\n<li>Provides direction to volunteers during field surveys.<\/li>\n<li>Organizes, enters, and edits field data in spreadsheets (Excel).<\/li>\n<li>Enters and manipulates spatial data with use of GPS units and GIS software (ArcGIS, ArcOnline, Survey123 mobile app).<\/li>\n<li>Summarizes data and performs literature review\/research.<\/li>\n<li>Maintains records of volunteer efforts and daily activity logs.<\/li>\n<li>Constructs\/repairs pre-release enclosures with use of hand tools.<\/li>\n<li>Performs minor equipment repairs and maintenance.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>WORKING CONDITIONS:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Work Setting, including hazards:<\/strong>\n<ol>\n<li>Mostly outdoor field work &#8211;
