While most of the work will be completed remotely (i.e., from home), the position requires in-office work one-day per week at either our Lake Forest Park or Bellingham, WA locations.<\/p>\n<p>The position includes assisting our small group (6 staff in total) with a wide variety of tasks critical to the function and operation of the company.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<strong>Responsibilities<\/strong> and duties for the position include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Proof reading and formatting technical reports and proposals<\/li>\n<li>Work with project managers to facilitate project invoicing and vendor payments<\/li>\n<li>Accounting data entry<\/li>\n<li>Review, edit, and upload webpage and other social media content<\/li>\n<li>Project coordination<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications and skills<\/strong> required or preferred (where noted) for the position include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Report\/document editing and formatting<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in Microsoft Word\/Excel<\/li>\n<li>Experience with Adobe Acrobat (required) and InDesign (preferred)<\/li>\n<li>Attention to detail, team mentality and a positive attitude<\/li>\n<li>Able to work independently<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with the A\/E Industry (preferred)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Hours:<\/strong>\u00a0Part-time, hours are variable (16 to 24 hours per week expected)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Location: <\/strong>Position will be remote, but requires in-office work one-day per week in Lake Forest Park or Bellingham, WA<\/p>\n<p><strong>Experience:\u00a0<\/strong>2 years or more in a similar role<\/p>\n<p><strong>Salary:\u00a0<\/strong>Commiserate with experience.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Blue Coast <\/strong>was founded in 2018 and is a small, certified woman-owned professional services firm specializing in coastal engineering, modeling, shoreline and estuary restoration, and design of wave and shoreline protection.
