Annually<\/div>\n<div><span style=\"color: #ffffff\">.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p><strong>What you will do:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Perform independent, professional engineering review of technical reports, feasibility reports, construction plans and specifications for water storage and water conveyance facilities.<\/li>\n<li>Provide policy and water code permitting support on major project developments, such as storage projects, water conservation projects and pump exchanges.<\/li>\n<li>Provide engineering expertise and assist in the development of policies, procedures, and administrative rules to achieve OCR\u2019s mission.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate new project development in OCR, including feasibility, and coordination with other programs regarding state water law and policies, Clean Water Act implementation, 401 certifications and permitting.<\/li>\n<li>Manage OCR grant projects that require engineering expertise, including storage, conservation, and pump exchanges, which includes performing site visits.<\/li>\n<li>Author sections and review Reports of Examination with a focus on engineering aspects of project development.<\/li>\n<li>Review engineering reports, technical reports, and project feasibility reports for OCR grants and make recommendations on project viability.<\/li>\n<li>Assist the OCR Director, Financial and Projects Section Manager and OCR Operations Manager in coordinating with Water Resources on engineering and statewide OCR policy issues, including with Regional Section Managers at CRO, ERO, and SWRO, and the Program Leadership Team.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><u>Required Qualifications:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Option 1:\u00a0<\/strong><br \/>\nAn Engineer-In-Training Certificate or a Bachelor&#8217;s degree with a major study in one of the following engineering fields: sanitary, civil, geotechnical, water resource, environmental, chemical, mechanical or related field<br \/>\n<strong><u>AND<\/u><\/strong><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><br \/>\nRegistration as a Professional Engineer in the state of Washington or another state based on registration requirements equivalent to those in Washington\u00a0<strong>AND<\/strong>\u00a0three years of experience in environmental engineering.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Option 2:<\/strong><br \/>\nA Master&#8217;s degree with major study in one of the following engineering fields: sanitary, civil, geotechnical, water resource, environmental, chemical, mechanical or related field<br \/>\n<strong><u>AND<\/u><\/strong><br \/>\nRegistration as a Professional Engineer in the state of Washington or another state based on registration requirements equivalent to those in Washington\u00a0<strong>AND<\/strong>\u00a0two years of experience in environmental engineering.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Option 3:<\/strong><br \/>\nA Ph.D. degree with major study in one of the following engineering fields: sanitary, civil, geotechnical, water resource, environmental, chemical, mechanical or related field<br \/>\n<strong><u>AND<\/u><\/strong><br \/>\nRegistration as a Professional Engineer in the state of Washington or another state based on registration requirements equivalent to those in Washington\u00a0<strong>AND<\/strong>\u00a0one year of experience in environmental engineering.<\/p>\n<p><strong>NOTE<\/strong>: \u00a0Requirements for professional registration as an engineer in the state of Washington are eight years of professional experience (which may include up to four years of college-level engineering education) and successful completion of sixteen hours of professional licensing exams.\u00a0<strong>Applicants qualifying through the licensing equivalency option must achieve professional registration as an
