This position will give you the opportunity to work closely with scientists and their work. Help us tell our stories and make a difference to the people of Washington State!<\/p>\n<p><strong>What you&#8217;ll do:<\/strong>\u00a0<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Plan, organize, direct, and lead an extensive communications program for the Environmental Assessment Program.<\/li>\n<li>Develop web content (written, graphic, photo, video, and audio), social and news media based on Environmental Assessment Program activities, tailoring content to diverse audiences.<\/li>\n<li>Work with subject matter experts to convert complex science into easily understood messages.<\/li>\n<li>Consult with and advise employees on best practices, including environmental justice considerations.<\/li>\n<li>Supervise, coach, and develop your team to be positive and effective contributors to Ecology&#8217;s mission and vision.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Required Qualifications:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Experience for both required and desired qualifications can be gained through various combinations of formal professional employment, educational and volunteer experience.
