The student will be funded by an EPA award to work<br \/>with the Puget Sound Partnership in Washington State and Dr. Biedenweg and Dr.<br \/>Trimbach at OSU. The student will be expected to play an active role in partner-engaged<br \/>collaborative research and project management, including working closely with the Puget<br \/>Sound Partnership and\/or other Puget Sound partners. The student will be fully funded for<br \/>a minimum of four years through a combination of Research Assistantship and Teaching<br \/>Assistantship.<\/p>\n<p>Start date: March 2022 (Spring Term)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application deadline:<\/strong> November 1, 2021<\/p>\n<p>Funding: A combination of RA and TA that cover tuition, benefits and stipend. Project<br \/>travel support also available.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Expectations<\/strong>:<br \/>1. Design and conduct original, empirical research on climate change and human<br \/>wellbeing in the Puget Sound region related to the Puget Sound Partnership\u2019s<br \/>Human Wellbeing Vital Signs (see links below)<br \/>2. Collaborate with existing Puget Sound partners to conduct partner-engaged<br \/>research<br \/>3. Co-locate with one of the partner agencies for a minimum three months<br \/>4. Teach one online course per year in Communications or Multicultural Perspectives<br \/>in Natural Resource Management<br \/>5. Co-author ~1 manuscript every two years with Dr. Biedenweg and\/or Dr. Trimbach<br \/>6. Submit proposals to obtain additional research funding support<br \/>7. Participate in relevant academic conferences and partner meetings<br \/>8. Follow departmental guidelines to meet graduation requirements in about 4 years<br \/>9.
