desirable skills:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Effective written and verbal communication skills and ability to communicate with varied audiences<\/li>\n<li>Experience in initiating grants and contracts<\/li>\n<li>Ability to manage projects administered by the Conservancy and its contractors and grantees<\/li>\n<li>Effective organizational skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>The Ecological Program Environmental Scientist will be responsible for:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Coordinating and participating in the initiation of environmental projects<\/li>\n<li>Reviewing and evaluating the scientific merit of project proposals<\/li>\n<li>Applying for funding for projects by using established protocols and guidelines<\/li>\n<li>Completing research, reviewing, analyzing and addressing emerging and potential special projects by performing a variety of natural resource management and environmental protection, planning, and implementation activities<\/li>\n<li>Developing and reviewing
