Community volunteering opportunities will be available for those interested.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Cost:\u00a0<\/strong>$40* All requests for financial assistance will be honored. Suggested donations are payable via\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.eventbrite.com\/e\/wsu-sustainable-community-stewards-eventsrepair-cafe-donations-tickets-146807797073?utm_source=eventbrite&amp;utm_medium=email&amp;utm_campaign=post_publish&amp;utm_content=shortLinkNewEmail\">Eventbrite<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>This training is perfect for anyone that would like to:<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Achieve a foundation level of understanding of climate change, impacts and solutions<\/li>\n<li>Increase knowledge of their personal carbon footprint and ways to reduce it<\/li>\n<li>Feel empowered \/ inspired to be part of their community<\/li>\n<li>This training teaches you the nuances of recycling, making you a local recycling expert.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Training content is grounded in credible climate change and natural resources science that is relevant both globally, and locally within Snohomish County, designed to equip each participant as an informed community educator. Participants will receive 20+ hours of University-level training during this engaging 8-week series.
