These experiences will give you a deep understanding of conservation action through a collaborative bottom up approach. You\u2019ll become familiar with how local priorities can be connected to regional initiatives to assure a diversity of voices are incorporated into Puget Sound conservation.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What you&#8217;ll do:<\/strong>\u00a0<\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>Coordinate Northwest Straits Commission (NWSC) projects such as green crab trapping and removal and the Puget Sound Kelp Conservation and Recovery Plan.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Organize and facilitate multi-partner meetings and workshops.<\/li>\n<li>Build partnerships and project support through tasks such as landowner outreach, scheduling field work, training volunteers, developing and leading protocol execution.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Assist with the development and implementation of project communication strategies and conservation efforts to public audiences, resource managers, and agency partners.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Work with partners, local Marine Resources Committee staff and project leads to become familiar with and evaluate existing and historical field project data and assess data for quality.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Required Qualifications:<\/u><\/strong><br \/>Experience for both required and desired qualifications can be gained through various combinations of formal professional employment, educational, volunteer and lived-experience.
