Activities will be focus on buckthorn removal in a woodland setting. This will include the use of mechanical clippers, motorized brush cutters, and spot spraying backpacks for herbicide application.<\/li>\n<li>Oak Savannah restoration: Spot spraying and seeding activities.<\/li>\n<li>Support restoration efforts on culturally significant sites.<\/li>\n<li>Remote work is also available if interested. Remote work would focus on developing cultural and medicinal plant books and developing GIS maps for an integrated invasive species management plan.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><u>Hours &amp; Travel<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>30-40 hours per week for 2 months (October &#8211; November). It is important to note that this will be field work within Native American Tribal communities near Redwood Falls, Minnesota (25% of the time) and near Granite Falls, Minnesota (75% of the time).<\/p>\n<p>$17\/hr.
