Students with a background in the following disciplines are encouraged to apply:<\/p>\n<p>\u2713 MS in wood science and technology, wood engineering, material sciences, or related sciences with strong background in engineering,<\/p>\n<p>\u2713 Demonstrated knowledge in wood processing, wood modification, timber structures,<\/p>\n<p>\u2713 Knowledge in computation, modeling, statistics and experimental design,<\/p>\n<p>\u2713 Background in additive manufacturing of biomaterials will be an asset<\/p>\n<p>\u2713 Experience in running wood working machinery, material testing equipment, life cycle analysis,<\/p>\n<p>\u2713 Strong communication skills<\/p>\n<p>\u2713 Team worker, high level of intellectual curiosity, and can work independently.<\/p>\n<p>\u2713 International students must have acceptable TOEFL scores or equivalent.<\/p>\n<p><strong>To Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Email the following documents in one single PDF file to Dr. Levente Denes:<\/p>\n<p>(1) cover letter, explaining your qualifications, your research interests, and relevant prior experiences;<\/p>\n<p>(2) CV,<\/p>\n<p>(3) transcripts of your undergraduate and graduate courses, and<\/p>\n<p>(4) contact information of three references.<\/p>\n<p>If you are an international student, please include TOEFL and GRE scores.
