This position will be shared with equal time between the two related programs. The Program Manager will work closely with the FLARE Network Coordinator, Dr. Daniel Miller, Associate Professor of Environmental Policy in the Keough School of Global Affairs, to manage and grow the Network as it transitions to a new base at the University of Notre Dame. FLARE is an international network of researchers, practitioners, donors, and policymakers who seek to build a community of practice and advance the state of knowledge on forest-related livelihood issues around the world. The Program Manager will also work closely with Dr. Danielle Wood, to manage the ND-GAIN Program as it looks to grow to meet future needs. ND-GAIN works to enhance the world\u2019s understanding of adaptation through knowledge, products and services that inform public and private actions and investments in vulnerable communities.<\/p>\n<h4>Duties for\u00a0<span class=\"caps\">FLARE<\/span>\u00a0Program include:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Work closely with the FLARE coordinator to plan meetings, manage the FLARE calendar, and provide background research on presentations and communications, and support in submitting grant applications, IRB applications, and project progress reports;<\/li>\n<li>Assist and help develop FLARE communications to membership, partners, stakeholders, and the general public, including maintaining the FLARE membership and contact database and managing the FLARE website; coordinate FLARE communications initiatives with Keough School communications team;<\/li>\n<li>Event coordination: Manage and coordinate logistics for annual in-person conference as well as other smaller meetings. Duties include: (pre-conference) \u2013 coordinate registration process, program\/agenda development, presentation submission and organization processes, room &amp; catering arrangements, hotel busing schedule management, setting up technical support services in buildings\/rooms, volunteer recruitment\/management, and tracking expenses;
