This is an entry-level position and does not require any college-level work within the sciences, though a general interest in science and learning is essential. Science Support Center Aides must be on time and attend all their shifts, work on a team, and provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\n<div>Specific duties include:<\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>Organizing and inventorying equipment<\/li>\n<li>Cleaning glassware and other lab dishes<\/li>\n<li>Helping prepare lab requests for programs and student projects<\/li>\n<li>Assisting customers at the front desk<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div>Qualifications<\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>Excellent interpersonal skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work with minimal supervision in an environment that requires constant flexibility and attention to detail<\/li>\n<li>Ability to create, organize, and maintain records and files in multiple computer-based systems<\/li>\n<li>Desire to work collaboratively with diverse staff, faculty, and students<\/li>\n<li>Ability to plan, prioritize, execute, and complete projects in timely fashion<\/li>\n<li>Desire to improve and broaden knowledge and skills across a wide variety of scientific disciplines<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div>You may apply for the Science Support Center Aide, Instrumentation Teaching Assistant, and the Laboratory Science Aide position using one application.
