This position will assist students and support faculty and staff at The Evergreen State College Library Research Desk.<\/div>\n
\u00a0<\/div>\n
Primary responsibilities include:<\/strong><\/div>\n
    \n
  • answering questions at the Research Desk in-person, online, and over the phone<\/li>\n
  • locating physical materials, searching online resources, navigating technology, and guiding users through the research process<\/li>\n
  • active student engagement and outreach<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
    \u00a0<\/div>\n
    Special projects, dependent on the candidate’s skills and interests, may include creating displays, posting to social media, planning events, creating research guides, trialing and reviewing resources, assisting with library initiatives, creating promotional material, and more.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

    • strong public service and communication skills<\/li>\n
