\u00a01-2 Weeks<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>SMART Patrol Training<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Design and conduct training addressing at least the following topics:<\/li>\n<li>Technical knowledge and awareness raising of natural resources and wildlife conservation;<\/li>\n<li>Techniques and methods of the SMART patrol system;<\/li>\n<li>SMART patrol planning;<\/li>\n<li>Use of maps, compass and the global positioning system (GPS);<\/li>\n<li>Patrols for collecting data on tigers, other wildlife species and their threats;<\/li>\n<li>Database development and analysis of patrol data using the Management Information System<\/li>\n<li>Program (MIST) and the SMART Program;<\/li>\n<li>Techniques for self-defense, making arrests and using weapons.<\/li>\n<li>Human rights and security considerations<\/li>\n<li>Average Period for Trainings \u2013 1-2 Weeks x 3 times a year<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Deploying Global Park Defense<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Using latest and best fit technologies and systems for Surveillance, Monitoring, Communications and Mapping of Threats and Rapid Response.<\/li>\n<li>Average Period for GPD Deployments \u2013 2 Weeks x 3 Times a Year<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span class=\"how-apply-header\">HOW TO APPLY<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Proposal Requirements<\/p>\n<p>Please provide for review of proposals:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Brief introduction to the Proposer\u2019s organization, its status and its work in Thailand;<\/li>\n<li>Brief summary of the Proposer\u2019s previous and ongoing collaboration with DNP-Thailand;<\/li>\n<li>Summary of the Proposers\u2019 previous experience in delivering;<\/li>\n<li>Description of the methodology\/approach to be used in the needs assessment;<\/li>\n<li>Detailed description of the proposed training course content;<\/li>\n<li>Detailed description of the proposed training methodologies;<\/li>\n<li>Brief summary the proposed training venue(s), logistical arrangements and health and safety considerations;<\/li>\n<li>List of staff to be involved in the training program and a summary of their relevant qualifications and experience;<\/li>\n<li>Proposer\u2019s full contact details, including the name and email address of the focal point for communications related to this project.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Financial Proposal<\/p>\n<p>The following should be included in the financial proposal inclusive of taxes:<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Staff costs;<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Travel costs, accommodation, meals and DSA for training workshop participants;<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Travel costs, accommodation, meals and DSA for Proposer\u2019s staff;<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Other workshop logistical costs (venue hire, etc);<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Production of training materials;<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Honoraria or other professional fees for experts and\/or trainers;<\/p>\n<p>&#8211;
