Travel<br \/>and overnights stays are also essential and could potentially be necessary for up to 50% of the projects. All travel time and hotels are paid and per diem is provided. Work is generally performed Monday through Friday and all employees average 40-50 hours per week. Eco Logic offers paid holidays on Memorial Day, July 4\u1d57\u02b0, Labor Day, and Thanksgiving for all seasonal restoration technicians.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Principal Accountabilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Arrive on time, well rested, with all essential gear and personal supplies<br \/>\u2022 Operate, load, and unload large trucks and trailers safely on a daily basis<br \/>\u2022 Mobilize, transport, use, and maintain all tools and equipment in a safe manner<br \/>\u2022 Utilize provided PPE, including insect repellants, in accordance with EPA and OSHA regulations<br \/>\u2022 Operate off road vehicles and apply herbicide using backpack and tank sprayers<br \/>\u2022 Operate GPS units and collect data in a standardized format on a daily basis<br \/>\u2022 Operate brush cutters, augers, and a variety of other small tools<br \/>\u2022 Show discipline in filling out daily logs, timesheets, and other essential paperwork<br \/>\u2022 Other duties as assigned<\/p>\n<p><strong>Minimum Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Possess a valid driver\u2019s license and maintain a clean driving record<br \/>\u2022 Possess or obtain a pesticide applicators license with the Office of the Indiana State Chemist<br \/>\u2022 Knowledge of woodland, wetland, and prairie plants native to Indiana and the Midwest<br \/>\u2022 Knowledge of plants invasive to Indiana and the Midwest<br \/>\u2022 Ability to lift and carry a 30 lbs. backpack sprayer for extended periods; hiking up to 12 miles a day<br \/>\u2022 Ability to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, digging, and hammering for extended periods<br \/>\u2022 Ability to work in extreme weather conditions such as extreme heat and rain<br \/>\u2022 Ability to work with frequent exposure to ticks, mosquitoes, poison ivy, stinging insects<br \/>\u2022 Experienced in the field of natural resource management [Preferred]<\/p>\n<p><strong>Competencies<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Demonstrate clear communication with co-workers, supervisors, and clients<br \/>\u2022 Demonstrate a commitment to creating and maintaining a safe working environment<br \/>\u2022 Promotes Eco Logic\u2019s mission and shares our core values<br \/>\u2022 Maintains a positive, constructive approach to dealing with challenges and obstacles<br \/>\u2022 Demonstrate a positive attitude and team mentality<\/p>\n<p>Please e-mail resume to: Matt Fox<br \/><a href=\"mailto:matt@ecologicindiana.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">matt@ecologicindiana.com<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Eco Logic is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE).
