Position requires balanced office and fieldwork in all weather and terrain conditions.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"ignore-global-css\"><span class=\"ignore-global-css\"><strong class=\"ignore-global-css\">MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"ignore-global-css\"><span class=\"ignore-global-css\"><strong class=\"ignore-global-css\"><u class=\"ignore-global-css\">Education and Training:<\/u>\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul class=\"ignore-global-css\">\n<li class=\"ignore-global-css\">\n<p class=\"ignore-global-css\"><span class=\"ignore-global-css\"><strong class=\"ignore-global-css\"><u class=\"ignore-global-css\">Biologist I<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"ignore-global-css\"><span class=\"ignore-global-css\">A Bachelor\u2019s degree from a regionally accredited college or university in Wildlife Biology or Wildlife Management, Natural Resource Sciences (Wildlife Directed Studies), or closely related field.\u00a0<strong class=\"ignore-global-css\">OR<\/strong>A Master\u2019s Degree from a regionally accredited college or university in Wildlife Biology or Wildlife Management, Natural Resource Sciences (Wildlife Directed Studies), or closely related field.\u00a0Must attain or maintain a current wildland fire response certification at a level that allows full participation in the BAER Team (may require \u201carduous\u201d level) within a reasonable timeframe (before the first fire season after hire depending on the scheduling of trainings.)<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"ignore-global-css\"><span class=\"ignore-global-css\"><strong class=\"ignore-global-css\"><u class=\"ignore-global-css\">Biologist II<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"ignore-global-css\"><span class=\"ignore-global-css\">A Bachelor\u2019s degree from a regionally accredited college or university in Wildlife Biology or Wildlife Management, Natural Resource Sciences (Wildlife Directed Studies), or closely related field,\u00a0<strong class=\"ignore-global-css\">AND<\/strong>\u00a036 months experience at the Biologist I and II or equivalent levels related to wildlife management or research, habitat management or research\u00a0<strong class=\"ignore-global-css\">OR\u00a0<\/strong>A Master\u2019s Degree from a regionally accredited college or university in Wildlife Biology or Wildlife Management, Natural Resource Sciences (Wildlife Directed Studies), or closely related field,\u00a0<strong class=\"ignore-global-css\">AND<\/strong>\u00a012 months experience at the Biologist I and II or equivalent levels related to wildlife management or research, habitat management or research.\u00a0 Must have experience writing at least one of the following (or a significant portion thereof): a wildlife population or habitat management plan; Environmental Assessment (EA) or Environmental Impact Statement (EIS); BAER required reporting; or closely related.\u00a0Must possess certification\/training in Washington State Forest Practice issues (Water Typing, Unstable Slopes, Wetland Delineations, Forest Health, etc.).\u00a0Must have completed training in ArcGIS software and experience utilizing the program to analyze statistical data. Must possess or gain certification\/training in the NEPA process and NEPA document preparation and writing.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"ignore-global-css\"><span class=\"ignore-global-css\">Requires a valid Driver\u2019s License and be eligible for coverage under the Tribes\u2019 vehicle Insurance.<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"ignore-global-css\"><span
