The Program Associate reports to the SNAP Program Director.<\/p>\n<p><strong>SNAP Responsibilities and Activities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Work with SNAP Program Director to fulfill state and national AmeriCorps requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Develop and lead orientation, Spring training, Graduation, and monthly webinars for SNAP Members.<\/li>\n<li>Lead program renewal processes by creating annual SNAP Materials, reporting forms, and timesheets.<\/li>\n<li>Review and track monthly SNAP member timesheets and reporting logs.<\/li>\n<li>Enroll SNAP Members in insurance and manage SNAP Workers Comp claims., as well as manage SNAP Host Site insurance<\/li>\n<li>Support SNAP host site and Member recruitment by reviewing applications and<br \/>performing interviews.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate and respond to CalVolunteers\u2019 requests and requirements, maintaining consistent and clear communication with funding partners.<\/li>\n<li>Lead communications with SNAP members through SNAP Weekly emails, social<br \/>media, and check in calls<\/li>\n<li>Occasional travel for site visits and\/or regional work days throughout the Sierra<\/li>\n<li>Act as Site Supervisor for Alliance SNAP Members<\/li>\n<li>Oversee the hiring and onboarding of Alliance SNAP Members<\/li>\n<li>Organize and maintain digital SNAP member files<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Desired Skill Sets:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Leadership\/Mentorship Experience<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with Non-Profit structure and culture<\/li>\n<li>AmeriCorps experience<\/li>\n<li>Development Training<\/li>\n<li>Highly organized\/detail oriented<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of Sierra Nevada and related conservation issues<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Benefits and Compensation:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>$22 &#8211; $27\/hour, depending on experience<\/li>\n<li>Funding secured through October 2022; extension of employment based on<br \/>successful funding acquisition<\/li>\n<li>Employer paid health, dental and vision insurance<\/li>\n<li>Generous paid leave, including federal holidays, sick leave and vacation time<\/li>\n<li>Flexible work location within the Sierra, with the option to work remotely<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><span class=\"how-apply-header\">HOW TO APPLY<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To apply, please send a cover letter and resume to Jenny Hatch at<br \/><a href=\"mailto:jenny@sierranevadaalliance.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">jenny@sierranevadaalliance.org<\/a>.
