The duration of the internship is six (6) months. Interns are provided with housing onsite and a monthly stipend ($500.00 monthly).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Internship\u00a0responsibilities\u00a0include:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Feeding, maintenance, and care\u00a0of\u00a0the\u00a0captive\u00a0avian\u00a0collection<\/li>\n<li>Cleaning enclosures and ponds<\/li>\n<li>Aviary maintenance including grounds and structures<\/li>\n<li>Assistance\u00a0with\u00a0bird\u00a0capture<\/li>\n<li>Record\u00a0keeping \u2013 medical and breeding (ZIMS)<\/li>\n<li>Interacting\u00a0with\u00a0RWC\u00a0visitors and donors during public visitation, guided tours and special events<\/li>\n<li>Exposure to falconry<\/li>\n<li>Assisting our Educators at school,\u00a0community\u00a0events, distance learning and onsite programs<\/li>\n<li>Support fundraising initiatives including mailings and general event preparations<\/li>\n<li>Assist with marketing efforts (social media)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This\u00a0is a\u00a0demanding\u00a0position\u00a0that requires long hours and extended periods outside in adverse weather conditions. Applicants must be willing to put in the time and effort to complete projects as needed.\u00a0 Applicants must be willing to have a flexible schedule.
