Develop long term comprehensive wildlife management plans on private and public land to improve monarch butterfly and other pollinator habitat, populations, and related conservation needs. Assist with, plan, and implement public information activities and workshops. Receive training on WVDNR and NRCS programs and protocols. Perform other duties as required.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Basic Qualifications:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelors degree or higher in biology or closely related field, preferably with an emphasis on insects.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of and\/or experience with Appalachian pollinators<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of horticultural requirements and techniques involved in establishing butterfly and pollinator habitat.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of invertebrate field survey methods, navigation, use of GPS and digital photography<\/li>\n<li>Skill and experience with MS Office, ArcGIS, and other software tools.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><span class=\"how-apply-header\">HOW TO APPLY<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Send cover letter, resume, and three professional references to:<\/p>\n<p>Jeff Hajenga<\/p>\n<p>WVDNR &#8211; Regional Biologist<\/p>\n<p>2006 Robert C.
