We are seeking a team member who is passionate about sustainability and willing to learn and ask questions.<\/p>\n<p><b>Responsibilities<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Act as a critical team member in providing Rushing\u2019s clients with the right data and tools to identify the sustainability solutions best suited for their projects;<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external clients to compile data and compliance paths for green building protocols and codes;<\/li>\n<li>Develop and compile documentation for pursuit of green building protocol certifications (LEED, Built Green, ESDS, Living Building Challenge, WELL, Fitwel, etc.);<\/li>\n<li>Review of sustainability related construction submittals;<\/li>\n<li>Develop and present reports, meeting notes, and other documents for communicating recommendations and\/or sustainable design processes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Qualifications<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Required:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>4-year college degree+ in architecture, engineering, environmental studies or a related field<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of the most prevalent green building protocols \u2013 LEED, WELL, Fitwel, Living Building Challenge, Built Green;<\/li>\n<li>Excellent organizational, detail-oriented, and time management skills;<\/li>\n<li>Strong communication and writing skills.<\/li>\n<li>Preferred:<\/li>\n<li>Experience with documentation and verification process for LEED, WELL, Fitwel, Living Building Challenge, Built Green;<\/li>\n<li>2-6 years work experience in engineering, architecture, or related discipline, with a sustainability emphasis;<\/li>\n<li>Ability to read and interpret architectural\/mechanical plans and construction documents;<\/li>\n<li>An understanding of building science and building envelope design.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The position is full time.
