Position: Director of Planning and Environmental Services<\/p>\n
Exeltech Consulting, Inc. is seeking a senior level environmental planning\/permitting professional to join our highly skilled team of environmental and engineering professionals delivering transportation and civil works projects throughout the Pacific Northwest. The successful candidate will grow into a leadership role with a full-service team providing the highest quality consulting services to the public and private sectors in the fields of transportation, planning, urban development, and environmental restoration. We are seeking an individual with at least five (5) years of experience managing environmental studies, documentation and permitting for roadway projects, and direct experience managing environmental compliance during construction.<\/p>\n

Minimum Education:<\/strong><\/p>\n\u00b7 B.S. in the Biological\/Environmental Sciences or related fields<\/p>\n
Desired Skills, Experience and Qualities:<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Five (5) years professional experience in transportation planning, permitting and environmental compliance<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Familiarity with wetland delineation reporting and permitting<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Familiarity with fish Passage planning, design and permitting<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Experience with transportation Design-Build project delivery and environmental compliance<\/p>\n
\u00b7 NEPA\/SEPA documentation<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Washington State and local regulations (SMA, Critical Areas, Hydraulic Code)<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Clean Water Act Section 404 permitting<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Prepared Biological Assessments under ESA Section 7<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Mitigation planning<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Client\/Agency interaction<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Ability to manage projects and staffing resources<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Business development and proposal writing experience<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Excellent technical writing and communication skills<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Computer skills: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Strong desire for career growth and advancement<\/p>\n

Pay: $30.00 – $45.00 per hour<\/p>\n
