Job Duties:<\/b><\/p>\n
The essential functions include, but not limited to the following:<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Independently travels to project sites to conduct asbestos, mold and lead assessments, clearance testing and project monitoring.<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Identify, comprehend, and apply regulatory requirements to each project and situation.<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Obtain appropriate samples comprehensively and discreetly. Obtain proper quantity of samples for the project, in accordance with EPA and OSHA requirements.<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Quantify all materials sampled.<\/p>\n
\u00b7 For each project, input field data into web-based program in a timely and efficient manner.<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Regularly document all project tasks occurring on the project, including any deficiencies of the abatement team or any regulatory agencies, customers, unauthorized or authorized visitors to the project site.<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Complete all required documentation in a thorough manner, including hand\/electronic draft of floor plans for assessments.<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Be able to properly communicate, oversee and direct abatement\/restoration contractor staff and supervisors, for all monitoring and clearance projects.<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Comprehend and guide contractors on recommendations of reports and scopes of work, as applicable for all projects.<\/p>\n
Qualifications and Experience:<\/b><\/p>\n
\u00b7 Minimum one year of work experience in relevant industry.<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Must have current AHERA Building Inspector and\/ or other relevant certifications.<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Ability to conduct mold assessments and clearances.<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Local Lead certifications for assessments and\/or monitoring and clearances.<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Must have a valid Drivers\u2019 License and acceptable driving record.<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Excellent written and verbal communication skills.<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Must be punctual and responsive.<\/p>\n
