Our goal is to cultivate an inclusive work environment so that all of our colleagues around the globe feel a sense of belonging, and that their unique contributions to our mission are valued.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Position Summary<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Conservation Coordinator provides administrative, project management, communications, and other general assistance to conservation and science program staff working toward the achievement of program goals. This role gathers and manages conservation information, participates in conservation team planning, administers grants and contracts, maintains project records, and provides administrative support. This may include collecting, assembling, and analyzing data, communicating with project managers and conservation partners, and managing annual tax exemptions payments for our land holdings around the state. The Conservation Coordinator also responds to landowner inquiries, produces maps using GIS software, and assists in the production of reports. This role will initially support the land conservation team but may assist other teams as needs change and the position evolves.<\/p>\n<p>This is a part-time position (21 hours\/week) which could potentially be expanded to full-time (35 hours\/week) if future\u00a0 funding allows. This position will ideally be based in Northampton, MA though Boston may be considered.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Skills &amp; Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree and 2 years related work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with Microsoft Office suite.<\/li>\n<li>Experience coordinating multiple projects.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with ArcGIS software.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with communication via written, spoken and graphical means.
