1 years<\/p>\n<p>See full job details at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservationjobboard.com\/job-listing-stewardship-specialist-chadds-ford-pennsylvania\/1088025158\">https:\/\/www.conservationjobboard.com\/job-listing-stewardship-specialist-chadds-ford-pennsylvania\/1088025158<\/a><\/p>\n<div class=\"job-frame-description-content\">\n<p><strong><u>Summary of Job Responsibilities<\/u>:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Monitor conservation easements throughout the United States, with a focus on the Eastern U.S., which can include extended travel by automobile to reach remote sites.<\/li>\n<li>Work closely with stewardship staff to ensure consistency with NALT\u2019s high standards of data collection, records management, and monitoring report production.<\/li>\n<li>Assist with programming, management and maintenance of NALT\u2019s Brinton Run Preserve, located in Chadds Ford Township.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><u>Primary Duties<\/u>:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Establish and maintain good rapport with landowners and conservation partners to foster compliance with conservation easement terms and to promote excellent stewardship.<\/li>\n<li>Navigate rugged properties by 4WD and on foot, often alone, while following safety policy to minimize personal and organizational risk.<\/li>\n<li>In preparation for monitoring visits, conduct file research, update Salesforce Locate records, schedule landowner contact, conduct site visits and prepare monitoring reports using Apsona.<\/li>\n<li>Research municipal records such as tax assessor\u2019s databases and keep property owner\u2019s information up to date in Salesforce LOCATE.<\/li>\n<li>Utilize various spatial databases for desktop analysis and field work related to properties, including ArcMap, various GPS technologies and Upstream Tech\u2019s Lens.<\/li>\n<li>Become proficient in reading and interpreting Conservation Easements and communicating its terms and conditions with landowners.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in the maintenance of Brinton Run Preserve including grass mowing, trail maintenance, and general upkeep of the property.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><u>Other Duties as Assigned:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist with responses to clients\u2019 stewardship request and advisors\u2019 requests for information.<\/li>\n<li>Develop various educational programs related to the historical and ecological context of Brinton Run Preserve and conduct outreach to local community.<\/li>\n<li>Contribute content to NALT\u2019s social media accounts, including Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn, in addition to tracking analytics for posts.<\/li>\n<li>Review Forest Management Plans.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><u>Essential Qualifications and Skills<\/u>:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelors Degree in Geography, Natural Resource Management, Forestry, Biological Sciences, Geology or other related field.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent people skills and ability to establish rapport with people from all walks of life and backgrounds.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to interact professionally with peers, all levels of management, clients, and vendors.<\/li>\n<li>Attention to detail and precision in observation and data collection.<\/li>\n<li>Strong written and verbal communication skills.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent MS Office skills, primarily in MS Word, MS Excel.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to read, interpret &amp; navigate various types of both digital and printed maps.<\/li>\n<li>Experience using GPS field equipment for navigation and importing GPS data into GIS.<\/li>\n<li>Self-organizing with ability to manage multiple priorities;
