This position is funded through a grant from the National Association of Resource Districts and the Natural Resource Conservation Service (NRCS) to provide technical assistance to the USDA-NRCS Service Center in Arco, Idaho.<\/p>\n The applicant will work with NRCS staff to conduct surveys, create conservation plans, and produce engineering designs for agricultural producers. Preferably, the applicant needs to have a degree in natural resources, soil science, agronomy or related field and be familiar with Microsoft Office and ArcMap. Applicant will need to be able to operate 4- wheel drive vehicles and UTVs, pull\/back a trailer, and have excellent customer service skills. A large portion of this position will involve work This is a full-time, 12-month, position with the potential for extension.
