https:\/\/www.conservationjobboard.com\/job-listing-environmental-specialist-denver-colorado\/2394062028<\/a><\/p>\nSupport the National Environmental Sustainability Director in the operations of the Green Hope program, a national environmental sustainability program within a large, non-profit, affordable housing provider. This will include coordination of data and efficiency, renewable implementation projects, and tracking and reporting of utility, project, and program performance.<\/p>\n
\n- Responsible for managing the “scorecards” for a wide variety of job responsibilities related to tracking, reporting, and researching utility related issues.<\/li>\n
- Research, analyze, and relay new technologies and project funding mechanisms, as well as implications of local, state, and federal legislation on Mercy Housing’s property portfolio, climate change impacts and resiliency opportunities.<\/li>\n
- Oversee coordination of third-party energy procurement, acting as the liaison between the broker and internal Mercy Housing staff.<\/li>\n
- Work with national sustainability director on efficiency and renewable project and program implementation.<\/li>\n
- Track and report on performance of energy and water upgrades after implementations.<\/li>\n
- Write content for internal and external communication channels with content identified by the data analyst.<\/li>\n
- Track and keep record of various programs and lists, including but not limited to current property lists, company-wide energy, and water upgrade tracking.<\/li>\n
- Ensure compliance of all external commitments including benchmarking of properties in required cities, data submissions for voluntary external efficiency commitments.<\/li>\n
- Assist in implementation of environmental sustainability programs.<\/li>\n
- Work with sustainability director to develop program protocols.<\/li>\n
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance.<\/li>\n
- Work cooperatively with others.<\/li>\n
