This position will be located in our Headquarters Office (HQ) in\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ci.lacey.wa.us\/\">Lacey, WA.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>In this role you will provide facilitation and outreach services for the entire Solid Waste Management Program. You get to work with technical experts across all of our subject matter areas, including recycling, biosolids, and extended producer responsibility. This position is exploring new and innovative outreach methods. We\u2019re always trying to learn how to provide better public involvement opportunities to overburdened communities. Come be a part of our team!<\/p>\n<p><strong>What you&#8217;ll do:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>Provide high quality facilitation and outreach to stakeholders, so the Solid Waste Management Program can reach the best possible solution with robust stakeholder buy-in.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate and track SWM stakeholder meetings.<\/li>\n<li>Works with subject matter experts to determine appropriate outreach materials, identify reviewers, and determine timeframes to produce materials.<\/li>\n<li>Prepares and distributes educational outreach materials for new and existing program initiatives that includes focus sheets, fact sheets, PowerPoint presentations, webpages, pamphlets, displays, recorded training sessions, etc.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Required Qualifications:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Option 1:<\/strong>\u00a0High school diploma or GED\u00a0<strong>AND<\/strong>\u00a0seven years of professional experience involving environmental analysis or control, environmental planning, environmental education, community outreach, or communications activities.
