The Regions provide the following services: compliance inspection of regulated entities; enforcement of permit requirements and administrative rules; issuance of air, water, and solid waste permits; investigation of complaints; issuance of subsurface permits in counties; response to spills or other incidents with environmental impacts; direct contact and liaison with other governmental entities, industries, and the public; and technical assistance to regulated entities and the public. Click\u00a0here<\/a>\u00a0to view a map of all of the DEQ offices.<\/p>\n What you will do!<\/strong><\/p>\n You will draft permits for industrial, commercial, and municipal air quality sources; perform on-site compliance inspections; assist and provide direction in determining compliance with air quality statutes and regulations; provide technical assistance; investigate complaints; interact with stakeholders; complete complex analyses and evaluations of air pollution issues; and prepare enforcement actions in response to source violation of state law and permit conditions. Statewide travel and occasional evening and weekend meetings may be required.
