In 2019 Lonely Whale embarked on a three-year initiative targeting single-use plastic bottled water with the launch of #HydrateLike and the Museum of Plastic, resulting in the transition from plastic to aluminum cans for Dasani and Aquafina water brands. In 2021 Lonely Whale is launching its most important movement-building impact campaign that will reinvigorate its prior two campaigns and lay the foundation for its efforts on thin-film plastic.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sqsrte-large preFade fadeIn\">With the guidance, leadership and resources of the Lonely Whale leadership team including its CEO, Executive Creative Director, SVP Strategy, Executive Producer and SVP Partnerships &amp; Impact, the Impact Campaign Manager will lead the execution of the campaign plan, ensuring strategy adjustments are made as needed and approved by the leadership team. This position requires an in-depth understanding of the current landscape of the plastics ecosystem and an ability to develop strategic relationships across the following groups in order to spark and then sustain movement building dialogues and actions: NGO, NPO, CPG, FMCG, Recycling, Policy Makers, Influencers and A-list talent.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sqsrte-large preFade fadeIn\">This position requires that you have a growth mindset, can inspire change in others and are able to \u201csee the forest for the trees\u201d. Being a highly organized team player with attention to details and an ability to make informed yet efficient decisions based both on data and on instinct will enable you to excel in this position and make a significant contribution to the state of plastic waste and production. A proactive position, the Impact Campaign Manager will be able to work independently with minimal supervision or direction.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sqsrte-large preFade fadeIn\"><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-rte-list=\"default\">\n<li>\n<p class=\"preFade fadeIn\">Seamless execution of the new campaign<\/p>\n<ul data-rte-list=\"default\">\n<li>\n<p class=\"preFade fadeIn\">Develop and manage the annual initiative work plan, timeline and budget, updating quarterly<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"preFade fadeIn\">Keep Asana project plan up to date to ensure timely cross-functional collaboration<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"preFade fadeIn\">Identify and mitigate risks to ensure delivery against all outcomes and KPIs<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"preFade fadeIn\">Collaborate with the Development Director and Leadership Team to ensure needed resources and brand partners are brought to bear on this initiative in a timely manner<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"preFade fadeIn\">Coordinate with cross-functional Creative, Production, Media and Social Media teams to ensure project needs are met<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"preFade fadeIn\">Coordinate with Creative, Strategy and Production teams to ensure activities and calls to action align with current state of the plastics discussion, consumer personas and trends and capitalize on potentially disruptive opportunities<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"preFade fadeIn\">Stay current on the state of the plastics discussion, ensuring strategically important relationships and dialogues are prioritized<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"preFade fadeIn\">Evaluate on a quarterly basis campaign trajectory and make recommendations for its evolution to better align with the movement-building aspirations for this initiative<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"preFade fadeIn\">Build and maintain strong working relationships with critically important internal and external stakeholders<\/p>\n<ul data-rte-list=\"default\">\n<li>\n<p class=\"preFade fadeIn\">Understand the NGO landscape of related campaigns and activities, the timing of each and how they may affect and be leveraged by this initiative<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"preFade fadeIn\">Maintain up to date records of contacts in Salesforce to ensure synergies across the organization<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"preFade fadeIn\">Capitalize on the acumen and collective experience of the Leadership Team.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"preFade fadeIn\">Develop a proficient level of understanding across all LW projects and draw on the knowledge of your fellow colleagues.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"preFade fadeIn\">Provide internal and external thought leadership on LW Impact Campaigns<\/p>\n<ul data-rte-list=\"default\">\n<li>\n<p class=\"preFade fadeIn\">Utilize and evolve the LW Impact Campaign White Paper, ensuring the efforts of this campaign reflect best practices and are on strategy and complementary to Lonely Whale\u2019s overall mission.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"preFade fadeIn\">Serve as external spokesperson for the new campaign<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"preFade fadeIn\">Identify key awards, conferences, podcasts and distribution partners key to the successful highlight of the new campaign<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"sqsrte-large preFade fadeIn\"><strong><br \/>\nQualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-rte-list=\"default\">\n<li>\n<p class=\"preFade fadeIn\">3-5 years experience with disruptive initiatives and\/or campaigns.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"preFade fadeIn\">Excellent computer skills, required: Microsoft Office, Google Drive, Asana, preferred: Salesforce.com, Slack, and Dropbox.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"preFade fadeIn\">Demonstrates a high level of professionalism in dealing with confidential and sensitive requires an advanced degree or the equivalent in work experience. It is preferred that the candidate\u2019s total relevant work experience is equal to 8 years or more.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sqsrte-large preFade fadeIn\"><strong>Physical and Other Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-rte-list=\"default\">\n<li>\n<p class=\"preFade fadeIn\">Office Environment: Constant computer work requiring repetitive motion, prolonged sitting and sustained visual\/mental demands.
