The Nisqually Land Trust is a local non-profit organization, with seven staff members, that protects and manages more than 8,700 acres in the Nisqually River Watershed in South Puget Sound.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong>\u00a0The AmeriCorps member will be responsible for:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Recruiting, training, and supporting outreach, stewardship and restoration volunteers;<\/li>\n<li>Planning and hosting weekly volunteer work parties;<\/li>\n<li>Facilitating a robust volunteer site steward program, including organizing a yearly sites steward workshop;<\/li>\n<li>Compiling volunteer records, and;<\/li>\n<li>Participating in stewardship and restoration field work.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"clearfix\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"job-frame-how-apply\"><span class=\"how-apply-header\">HOW TO APPLY<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>To Apply:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Before applying, make sure that you understand the basics of AmeriCorps service by reviewing Washington Service Corps\u2019 \u201cBecome a Member\u201d page.<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/washingtonservicecorps.org\/become-a-member\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">https:\/\/washingtonservicecorps.org\/become-a-member\/<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Applications will be reviewed when received.
